The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky with Gift Box, 70cl

Since 1824, George Smith has been crafting The Glenlivet whisky in the remote Livet Valley in the heart of Scotland's Speyside region. He founded the first legal distillery in the parish of Glenlivet. In the early 20th century, The Glenlivet became the popular whisky among enthusiasts throughout the British Empire. Following the end of Prohibition in the United States, it's popularity grew in America and quickly became well-known as the first Speyside single malt, the status of which is retained to this day.

The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is a new single malt Scotch finished in rum barrels, recently launched as a new Speyside single malt. Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve combines Scotland's fine heritage with the flavour and spirit of the Caribbean. Their aim at The Glenlivet is to break old whisky conventions by exploring a variety of interesting and intriguing flavours. In the past, they have experimented with Cognac casks, so it was only natural for them to try other casks, and rum barrels were their next choice.

For the first time in their history, they have combined premium Scotch with rum barrels and brought some tropical Caribbean flavours to their traditional Speyside style.

Try these delicious cocktails using Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve. 

Tartan Tiki

INGREDIENTS: 50ml The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve, 25ml Pineapple Juice, 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters and Peach Sparkling Water

METHOD: Build all ingredients over ice in a glass and then top with peach sparkling water.

Pineapple Lime Smash

INGREDIENTS: 2 Parts The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve, 1 ½ Part chilled pineapple juice, 2 Lime wedges, ½ Part simple syrup, Ice and 8 Mint leaves

METHOD: Add the ingredients into a cocktail shaker leaving the pineapple juice, a lime wedge and a couple of mint leaves for later. Muddle, shake and then pour into a glass, top with the pineapple juice and garnish with a lime wedge and fresh mint.

Coco Breeze

INGREDIENTS: 50ml The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve, 100ml Coconut Water, Ice and Orange peel and lime to garnish

METHOD: Build in tall rocks glass, add ice and stir then garnish with lime and orange twists.
